It seems you've got a pink kink in your think
The new color is in honor of our news: We're having a baby and it's a girl! I'm due October 6th. Just thought I would let everyone who hasn't seen me recently know. We're incredibly excited to be having a little girl! Now begins my campaign to paint just ONE wall in our house pink. I'm getting opposition from the boys and Eric, but I think I can wear them down. And pretty soon, I won't be quite so outnumbered!

HOLY CRAP-O Katie! I am SOOOOOO happy for you! Dang, you stole my girl baby (ha, ha, I am kidding of course). Your kids are adorable--I love the pictures of the beach. And I think you are RIGHT on about motherhood--not the hardest, but most important.
Ok, I just screamed involuntarily when I read the news! CONGRATULATIONS, Katie! Linda is pregnant with her second son and due 2 days before you are! Again, Congratulations, and keep pushing for that pink wall, I once lived in an apartment in NM that my roommate and I painted our living room, hallway and dining room all different shades of pink, it was AWESOME!

WOW super congratulations Katie! You are such an awesome Mom to two boys I can't imagine how great you'll be to pass along all your wisdom to a lucky little girl. I hope you've been feeling okay! I'm sad I won't get to see how cute you are when pregnant. Be sure to post lots of picture :)

Congratulations! Girls must be in the water - our first girl is due Sept 14. I'm already working on a pink quilt for her. Finally a break in the blues and dogs!
Congratulations! Girls are so much fun. I can't wait to see you and the boys in a few weeks. The girls convinced us to paint their room pink, so maybe it will help sway your boys. It's the only room in our house that's actually been re-painted so far. Also, I love your poem for Brigham. I wouldn't be surprised if you did write a book someday!

Hey Katie~ I occasionally scan your blog when i visit Cailean's. I love to hear how people I knew once upon a time are doing! It looks like we did our kids exactly opposite. We have two girls (4 yrs & 16 mo) and I am due Sept. 24th with a boy. So I completely understand your excitement, although my hubby probably more so. Congrats!
Fabulous news! I am thrilled that there will be a wise women raised by Katie on the loose someday! Maybe my Simon can snatch her!
