I will clean the boys' bathroom today if it KILLS ME!!!! There are many words that come to mind when I think of my sweet boys. But right now, "stinky" is the one that fits best. How do they manage to be so cute and funny and yet smell so bad? Actually, THEY don't even smell bad (usually), they just manage to make other things smell bad- like their bathroom, which is, even though it's only been a week since I last cleaned it (okay, maybe more like 10 days), offensive. So I'm going to roll up my sleeves and employ one of my favorite tricks: listening to a pod-cast of This American Life while I clean. That, and not breathe through my nose for the next 30 minutes. Wish me luck.

Cleaning the bathroom is kind of fun.

Hope you survived! I cleaned Mark's bathroom the other day and seriously thought I might lose it. I had to give him the "you are not a bachelor" speech. . again! I even threw in a "Where do you think you are living: the dorms?" I think there must be a certain place in heaven reserved for mothers of boys, and it better have a spotless, self-cleaning bathroom! LOL

You've got to get the boys in there to clean it..at least the toilet. There's something so delightful about spraying bottles of chemicals everywhere, regardles of whether they actually get wiped up, and to your great astonishment have used up half the bottle in the 3 seconds you left them alone. And then there is the toilet bowl scrubber. So fun to shove it down in the water splash and splash so violently they even managing to let water escape the toilet bowl completely. Yep, that's what I do, let my kids help clean by making more of a mess. :)

Good luck with that. I hate cleaning the bathroom. Mine gets clean when the smell starts to permeate into the rest of the house or company comes over.
