Why am I so sad today?

1. The boys went back to school on Monday.
2. My cousin, Laura went back to California.
3. I woke up this morning to the sound of the dog vomiting a giant glob of grass on the carpet beside my bed.
4. I took a bath earlier in the boys' tub, because it's bigger than mine, and now my hair smells a little like pee.
5. I have just eaten a king-sized Snickers bar.
6. Oh yes- and I'm STILL pregnant.

Send me some cheerful thoughts...

It may not cheer you up but Linda (Argentiero) Mesinger was due on the 6th also and is still pregnant too... xoxo.

I'm wishing you happy labor pains.

Just look at the pictures of your darling boys on the side of your blog, then imagine that as a girl...that ought to get you through a little while! And tell Lindsay A. to bring you some apple bread.

Hi, Katie. I just read my friend's post about conference. She lives in SLC, but she was a Seattlite, too. Maybe you remember her--she was in one of the university wards, though. Her post me smile.

Maybe you DO need another loaf of apple bread! But, since you said the last one only lasted 30 minutes, I might have to bring a whole cart-load to keep you happy until the baby comes. :) Wait, what am I talking about? I'm SURE you'll go into labor within 30 minutes of my apple bread (I might hide a little thing called 'Castor oil' inside!)

We love you, Katie!

Oh Katy, I totally feel for you. Look for the awesome things about still having her inside. I loved watching my entire stomach contort back and forth, and pushing legs, knees, and feet into new positions, just to see if they would move right back. I also found it quite entertaining to just watch my stomach when the baby inside wanted to do laps. I know this freaks out some people, but it was always comforting to me and was something I missed once they were born, feeling them so close.

Okay here are two You Tube videos to make you laugh:

If these links don't work, go to You Tube and look for "evil eye baby" and then "charlie bit my finger again"

DON'T touch the castor oil. Really, it just isn't worth it (from my experience at least).

I have loved your recent posts and especially appreciate the part about life being good. We are all really blessed aren't we?!

Best wishes with the delivery!!!

um...
1.having the boys back in school will allow you to spend more time with your new babe (when she decides to appear)
2. sorry, that sucks
3. also, can't help you there
4. the bath was relaxing?
5. maybe the baby will not agree with your eating habits and want to come faster.
6. it only takes a day to become "un-pregnant" and you have lasted for 10 months!

hang in there.

I was getting a little worried about you when you didn't return my call. Now I know you're just "still pregnant" and not something worse. It may not help you, but it gives me more time to finish your baby gift! I need a few more weeks...what do you think?

Thanks for a good laugh! Hope things got better for you after this hard, pee-smelling-hair day.
